Authorities have been searching for Hathaway for weeks after he previously fled from police in Epsom last month
Gilmanton police said they discovered guns and ammunition inside a home while continuing to look for Dana Hathaway, 29, a parolee from the NH State Prison who authorities consider armed and dangerous.
The investigation led officers Monday afternoon to a residence on NH Route 140 after a homeowner reported a vehicle parked at the end of the driveway. The homeowner said Hathaway was the last person seen driving it.
After being allowed inside, police said they located a cache of firearms and ammunition. Hathaway and his girlfriend were not found at the property.
Authorities have been searching for Hathaway for weeks. He previously fled from police in Epsom last month, which triggered a large search near the traffic circle.
Anyone with information about Hathaway’s whereabouts is asked to contact the U.S. Marshalls or the Gilmanton Police Department at 603-267-7401.
