Christopher Johnson Injured After Police Chase Ends in Antrim Crash

Johnson was expected to be arraigned Friday.

Christopher Johnson, 32, of Sharon, is facing multiple felony charges after a pursuit that began in Hillsborough and Antrim on Friday morning ended when his vehicle went over an embankment.

Police said Johnson drove toward two officers during the incident, forcing both to get out of the way to avoid being hit. The chase continued before the car left the roadway and rolled down the slope in Antrim.

Johnson was seriously hurt in the crash, though investigators said his injuries were not life-threatening. A passenger in the vehicle had minor injuries.

Johnson was expected to be arraigned Friday.
