One of the animals knocked her down and trampled her, leading to what officers described at the scene as suspected serious injuries.

A 37-year-old Rindge woman was flown to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester on Tuesday after being injured by a horse at her home, according to Rindge Police Chief Rachel Malynowski.

Police said the incident happened inside a paddock on West Main Street where the woman was with several horses. One of the animals knocked her down and trampled her, leading to what officers described at the scene as suspected serious injuries.

Malynowski said the woman's name was being withheld for privacy reasons. By Wednesday afternoon, she said she did not know the woman’s current condition.
