19-year-old hurt in rollover crash in Charlestown

Investigators believe the driver may have fallen asleep before the vehicle struck a concrete block and overturned several times.

 

Police say a 19-year-old man was seriously injured early Friday after a single-vehicle rollover in Charlestown.

 

The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. on the west side of Claremont Road. Investigators believe the driver may have fallen asleep before the vehicle struck a concrete block and overturned several times.

 

When responders arrived, they found the man outside the car on the ground. He was transported to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
